What is a Neighbourhood Plan?
Neighbourhood planning helps local people shape the future of their area.
A Neighbourhood Plan contains:
- The vision for the town
- The objectives to see that vision fulfilled
- Planning policies to meet the objectives
A Neighbourhood Plan is a community-led document that sets out planning policies for the neighbourhood area. It is a legal planning document that will be used to help decide whether to approve planning applications.
Current surveys
The Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group are keen to hear from the following groups in the town:
- Residents of Wool Gardens
- Employees of local businesses located on the trading estate
- Crewkerne based employers and business
Hard copies have been delivered but if you haven’t received one and would like to respond, please download and complete the relevant survey and return to Town Hall by 11th April 2025.
